General information.

Duinzicht lies in the village of Buren (about 600 inhabitants), next to the agrocultural museum Swartwoude.
Buren lies on the island "Ameland" which is part of the World Heritage Waddensea.
The village lies close to "het Oerd" and "de Hôn", wonderful nature reserves.
North sea beach, Waddensea, village of Nes lie about 2 Km from the hostel.
Bicycle rental, restaurants, supermarket, snackbar and little shops are all at walking distance.

The hostel Duinzicht provides a temporary home for groups up to 76 persons.
For ultimate comfort and privacy it's rented to 1 group at a time.
The guests have to take care of their own: cooking, cleaning the premises etc. : Self service.
It's possible to rent sheets, blankets and towels.
Also caterers can make it easy for you -e.g. let them make your dinner!

Duinzicht also offers workshops in drawing and sketching and educational visits to it's dairy farm,

Prices

Price of a night is dependent on size of the group (amount of persons) and the period of stay.
The price includes gas, water, electricity and tourist tax.
Indication: the bigger the group and / or the longer the stay, the lower the price per person.
in general: 7 - 12 euros per person per night
